Smithers Branding Initiative
We would like to share some exciting news with you. Until now, Smithers has had two companies providing services to the tire, rubber, polymer, and automotive industries; Smithers Scientific Services in the US and Smithers Rapra Technologies in the UK. As these companies have grown, the benefit and synergies of operating as a single brand have become obvious. In order to serve our customers in these industries under one banner, we are creating a single global brand - Smithers Rapra.
There will be additional communications on our brand initiative, but in terms of your everyday interaction with Smithers, rest assured that little is changing. Integrating our North American, European, and Asian service offerings simply allows Smithers to present our clients with a broader scope of testing and consulting services.
For example, our North American clients will see additional service offerings in areas such as leachable and extractable analysis, plastics analysis, and end user device testing and consulting for the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
You will start seeing our proposals, reports, and invoices being issued under the Smithers Rapra Banner. Please note that these changes will not affect any open contracts or agreements and business will continue as usual.
Also, please note that we are moving our email domains to username@smithers.com. If you have a spam filter, please change your settings to allow smithers.com emails to pass through. This will prevent any loss in communication from Smithers Rapra employees.
