With over 42 years' experience in the rubber and tire industry, Bruce Lambillotte is well positioned to assist companies with their rubber development challenges. As Vice President of Technical consulting, his expertise in product development originates from extensive testing and analysis experience at Smithers and through various roles at Continental General Tire Inc.

In his most recent position as General Manager of the Akron Laboratories, Lambillotte was responsible for analytical and physical properties testing areas of Smithers. In addition, he served as Smithers's Senior Technical Consultant, responsible for product and process-specific technical consulting activities involving polymer products. These activities included performance analyses, formula reconstructions, failure mode analyses, and product development.

Qualifications and Professional Accreditation
Lambillotte is an active participant in the American Chemical Society, Rubber Division and ASTM International. Over the years, he has given dozens of technical presentations on the topic of rubber development, chemical analysis and material chemistry. He also holds a patent for Radial Tire Reinforced Splice Method (Patent No. 4,733,709). Bruce has a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and an MBA from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
