Helen Keogh

Manager of Distribution Testing Laboratory in United Kingdom

Helen has 30 years’ experience of working in commercial test and consultancy laboratories, covering a broad range of industries including water, environmental and food service industries, PPE manufacturing, and most recently in distribution and package testing.


Helen has managed UKAS accredited test laboratories for over 15 years and has held positions of both technical management and quality management during that time. She is knowledgeable in many quality management standards including ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 and also has experience of organising accredited proficiency testing schemes in accordance with ISO 17043. Helen has represented the UK as an expert at European Committees for Standardisation (CEN), participating in the revision of performance standards and test methods relating to chemical protective clothing.

Qualifications and professional accreditation

Helen’s work experience is supported by ILM and IOSH certifications, as well as a degree in Chemistry with membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
