Suzanne is responsible for Business Consultancy Services, helping companies achieve compliance to international standards and legislation through the introduction of management systems.

An effective management system demonstrates product and service quality; putting a clear focus on customer requirements and service, minimising risk, and addressing regulatory obligations. 

Suzanne provides support for companies looking to improve their existing management systems, or set up a completely new management system, by simply and efficiently helping you implement a system that is specific to your organisation's requirements.

Suzanne joined Smithers in 2005, working on long-term European and Nationally funded research projects ensuring that projects were run on time, on budget and according the funding rules, as well as supporting companies applying for funding.

Suzanne specialises supporting companies with the adoption, development and implementation of effective management systems, such as quality (ISO 9001), environmental (ISO 14001) and medical devices (ISO 13485). 

She also has vast experience of managing large European funded projects and developing the results into viable products and services and has worked on a number of high profile EU-projects within the European polymer industry. 

Qualifications and professional accreditation

Suzanne has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Criminology, and is a currently studying for an MBA (Technology Management).
