Smithers Quality Assessments Names New Director of Sales and Global Marketing

AKRON, Ohio,  -- Smithers Quality Assessments (SQA), a quality, safety and environmental management systems auditor and certification body, today named  Scott McDonough  as its new Director of Sales and Global Marketing.  McDonough will work with SQA management and the Smithers sales and marketing teams to support the continued growth as the company seeks to augment services in line with the needs of clients in  North America,  Europe, and  Asia. McDonough will report to General Manager  Aaron Troschinetz  as part of his  North America-focused duties and to President  Jeanette Preston  in relation to global marketing efforts.

McDonough began his career as an application engineer with Nordson Corporation and moved up through operations, marketing, and sales management roles with PPI Technical and DATAForge. He brings 16 years of successful B2B sales and marketing experience to SQA, with a focus on helping manufacturers in a wide range of industries overcome their product and process challenges. McDonough possesses a broad base of experience building strong customer relationships and delivering service solutions for manufacturers in the automotive, energy, medical device, packaging, and food production industries.
