Smithers Announces Director of Ecotoxicology, North America, Environmental Risk Sciences

(Wareham, Massachusetts, USA) – Smithers, a leading provider of testing, consulting, information, and compliance services, announces the appointment of Michael Bradley as Director of Ecotoxicology in the Wareham, Massachusetts facility.
 
As Director of the Ecotoxicology North American team, Mike will provide scientific leadership and managerial direction, collaborating globally with clients and colleagues while ensuring conformance to technical, quality assurance, and business objectives.
 
“Mike has been a key leader in helping to grow our ecotoxicology services,” said Gus Zieske, Vice President, North America, Smithers Environmental Risk Sciences Division. “It’s a great advantage for Smithers and for our clients to add him to our team of technical directors. By promoting Mike, we’ve strengthened our team, ensuring that we continue to provide accurate data, on time, with high touch.”
 
Mike joined Smithers in 2007 as an Assistant Biologist, and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, serving most recently as Manager of Terrestrial Ecotoxicology.  The majority of Mike’s career at Smithers has been spent with a focus in sediment toxicology, during which he has collaborated with industry and government on developing and advancing multiple test methods. Mike obtained his BS degree in Coastal and Marine Policy and Management, with a minor in Marine Biology, from the University of Rhode Island, College of Environmental Life Sciences.
