More about Sean Smyth

Sean Smyth has spent over 25 years in the industry in senior technology positions for a variety of print businesses across the supply chain.

Sean has a strong background in appropriate application of technology to print, implementing digital print systems, MIS and workflows to take time and cost out of the print supply chain. Currently he acts as a non-executive Director at REAL Digital International, the pioneer of high volume inkjet and electrophotographic print.

François Martin, Marketing & Communication Manager, BOBST

Francois has been working in the printing and packaging industry since 2005 in various marketing roles. As Marketing & Communication Manager at BOBST, he today continues to communicate innovations, which help converters and brand owners to create a more agile and more sustainable packaging production across the entire supply chain. He strongly believes that connectivity, digitalization, automation and are the main drivers to shape the future of packaging production. He is also convinced that the new consumer generation will force the entire industry to drastically reduce its environmental impact answering their needs for a customized experience addressing their values. Before working for BOBST in early 2018, Francois was the global head of marketing for the HP Graphics Solutions Business.

Robert Stabler, Managing Director, Koenig & Bauer Durst GmbH

Robert Stabler is the Managing Director of Koenig & Bauer Durst, the newly formed JV between Koenig & Bauer and Durst based in Germany and targeting the single pass corrugated and folding carton packaging markets utilizing the complimentary core competencies of both companies. Stabler has a long and successful international career in digital printing at Xerox, where he was responsible for the Graphic Business Group and at HP, where he was responsible for the Production InkJet business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has a keen interest in technology tipping points and how the interplay of different technologies can have far reaching and often unpredictable consequences.
