Imminent Cybersecurity Threats

A cyberattack occurs when someone gains unauthorized access to computer systems and steals, discloses, alters, disables, or destroys information. A hacker usually seeks to benefit from disrupting a victim's network. The purpose of a criminal attack is to gain financial gain through money theft, data theft, or disruption of business. However, retribution is their primary motive.

Enterprises are vulnerable to cyberattacks. Downtime can be lost, data can be manipulated, and money can be lost because of ransomware. In addition, downtime can cause significant service disruptions and financial losses.
For example:

DoS, DDoS and malware attacks can cause system or server crashes.
DNS tunneling and SQL injection attacks can alter, delete, insert or steal data into a system.
Phishing and zero-day exploit attacks allow attackers entry into a system to cause damage or steal valuable information.
Ransomware attacks can disable a system until the company pays the attacker a ransom.
