George is also a key leader in ensuring security and compliance for Smithers. He works with several technology and industry research groups to stay at the forefront of cybersecurity developments.
 
George joined the Smithers team in 2001. He has worked with Smithers businesses to pioneer some of the first tablet data collection systems and GPS applications. With his guidance, Smithers has adopted a range of web, video, and collaboration tools and virtualized global platforms to streamline communication with clients and team members worldwide.
 
He has a Bachelor’s of Science in computer science and applied mathematics from the University of Akron and a Master’s of Science in parallel programming and computer networking from Virginia Tech. He has also completed certified ethical hacking and related MS Azure Cloud trainings.
 
George lives with his family in northeast Ohio. He loves to travel.
