PAH’s (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) may be present in many different types of rubber and plastic articles and in some instances can be of concern due to public health. Some PAH’s have therefore found their way onto the SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) list of the ECHA (European Chemical Agency) and may be specifically restricted in Germany (AfPS GS 2014:01 PAK). Testing a wide variety of PAH’s, may therefore be required before placing plastic and rubber articles onto the market. We can help you with your PAH compliance issues or worries.
