This test measures the effect of dynamic compressive strains on the fatigue characteristics and the rate of heat generation from different rubber vulcanizates.
The results of this test are often applied to research and development studies, as the wide variations in conditions mean no correlation between accelerated tests and actual-use service performance can be given.
